Having worked as a Theatre Director (Larry’s Goodbye Theatre Company) and Assistant Director in Film & TV (Frankenweenie, London Boulevard, The Look of Love, Downton Abbey, Bad Education), Zita embarked on a career in casting in 2013.
Since then, she has cast hundreds of commercials, over twenty short films, a Channel 4 TV Special “Gregg Wallace: The British Miracle Meat”, a documentary “Liam Gallagher: Knebworth 22” and most recently, Marshmallow Laser Feast’s immersive adventure “Sweet Dreams”, produced by Factory International and funded by the BFI.
Zita’s first feature film casting by credit will be Matt Harlock’s psychological thriller “Blockhead”, set for release in late 2024.
Zita is currently a Casting Director with ET Casting, a board member of the CDA and a provisional member of the CDG. She is an advocate for representation and gender balance on British screen.
