Zita kicked off her career in the arts as a Theatre Director with Larry’s Goodbye Theatre Company before diving into the world of Film and TV as an Assistant Director on projects like Frankenweenie, London Boulevard, The Look of Love, Downton Abbey, and Bad Education. In 2013, she made the exciting leap into casting, and the rest is history!
Since then, she’s cast everything from hundreds of commercials to over twenty short films, along with standout projects like the Channel 4 TV special Gregg Wallace: The British Miracle Meat (Untold Studios), the immersive Sweet Dreams experience by Marshmallow Laser Feast (Factory International), and the recent comedy series The Blondey Way (Renowned Films). Zita’s first feature film ‘casting by’ credit will be Matt Harlock’s psychological thriller Blockhead, hitting screens in late 2025.
Now a Casting Director at ET Casting, Zita is also a board member of the Casting Directors Association (CDA) and a full member of the Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG). A true champion of diversity, she’s passionate about bringing underrepresented voices to the forefront and pushing for more gender balance in the industry, all while working to make the media landscape as inclusive and authentic as possible.
